In the books this was an original Trust aimed at raising money for children living in poverty or in a home.

Often, through no fault of their own, a child is taken from an abusive situation and placed in community homes until foster parents can be found. Many are frightened, scared, and belligerent. Defensive at what may happen to them next. They feel alone and isolated. TEPF want them to know they are not alone and that somebody cares.

​

TEPF's target for ETP (Eternal trust Project) is to buy as many toys and age appropriate gifts as possible, to reach as many children as we can. It may not seem much to us, but it would be huge for them. It would be something directly theirs. There is nothing worse than being dropped at a foster family a week before Christmas and having nothing to open. Or being in a care home and not receiving a present.

In time TEPF would like to expand to being able to supply a care home/shelter with a gift card to help buy clothing and necessities for those children. Having your own bottle of deodorant makes an enormous difference to a teenager’s pride. Or new PJ’s, new shoes and not hand-me-downs.

​

Should we raise excess money our goal would be to donate to the shelters to provide counselling, buddy networks, and improve properties, such as new bedding or a new tv. Perhaps we could help sponsor a child safety phone line. Perhaps even put some money towards a scholarship. Let’s aim high.
