The Elizabeth's Phoenix Foundation

Meet the Advisory Board and Trustees.

Trustee Elizabeth N. Harris was born in Dagenham, Essex, in the UK. She graduated school there and lived there twenty-eight years. Hating the city, she moved to South Yorkshire in 2002, and finally moved to Derbyshire in 2005. Elizabeth began her writing career in 2019, with the book Rage of the Phoenix, which introduced the charities to the world. Elizabeth herself lives with her three teenage sons and has an older son and daughter. She has three grandchildren and wants more!
She loves the Chicago Cubs, the New York Yankees, the Chicago Blackhawks, the Las Vegas Golden Knights, and is a New England Patriots Fan. Despite being told many times she cannot support two MLB and two NHL teams, Elizabeth continues to do so!

Elizabeth has written books for over thirty years, ever since her English teacher encouraged her at thirteen. It has always been a dream to become a published author. She has many stories to tell, and she hopes you will follow her along those journeys. She has always been shy about sharing her stories, but a song inspired her. We all know the famous song from The Greatest Showman, ‘This Is Me!’
When asked where the idea of the Trusts comes from, Elizabeth declares they are something she has long dreamed of but knew she couldn’t achieve. So she incorporated them into the Rage MC books. This brought the concept of the Trusts to the eye of the public.

Jordan Harwood, known to many as Jordie, is Elizabeth’s second child and only daughter. Jordie has three children, a girl and two boys. Jordie’s partner Leylen, is very supportive of his partner’s endeavours around the Trusts and loves to help out with the shopping! In fact, Leylen enjoys it more than anyone.
Jordie is a Trustee and strongly believes in the TEPF. She has solidly and unselfishly supported Elizabeth in growing and building the charity. Jordie understands Elizabeth’s vision and seeks ways to see it come to fruition.
As well as a full-time mum, Jordie is Elizabeth’s proofreader and also runs her own merchandise business. The TEPF shamelessly use Jordie’s merchandising skills for their own use. Jordie developed her skills in
merchandising when she realised how big the Trusts could become, and she is always seeking new and inventive ideas that could be used to raise money. Jordie lives close to Elizabeth and is often seen at Book Signings accompanying Elizabeth and acting as her carer.

Trustee Ben and Elizabeth have known each other for over twenty years. They met playing on a game called Evony and founded a friendship that has never failed either of them since. They met in 2024 for Elizabeth's fiftieth birthday for the first time! Elizabeth jokes that it’s the distance that keeps them both sane!
Ben has been a sounding board for Elizabeth for a great many years, often being her guide when she’s lost and her strength when she needed it. Elizabeth calls him her hero, as when nobody else was there, Ben was.
Ben has taken great delight in watching Elizabeth’s writing career grow and has supported the idea of TEPF from first mention. Ben provides a steadying influence by offering encouragement.

Ben works full time as a mechanic and is well respected within his career. He currently lives in Ohio but has a dream of owning his own land and hibernating there one day! Who knows, Elizabeth may well join him there in the future.
He is decorating his house with Elizabeth’s input, or shall we say, strong opinion. When on discovering Ben had a fully outfitted 1950 kitchen, Elizabeth lost her mind when he said he was going to tear it out. Instead, Ben is now restoring it with Elizabeth nagging at his heels!

Trustee Nancy Rosky was born and raised in New Jersey and has remained a Jersey Girl despite living in other states, finally landing in Florida.
She is a History teacher of middle schoolers who amuse her daily as they continuously push the envelope as they grow up. (She is also eternally grateful for the Urban Dictionary in her attempt to remain cool and not be old!)
Nancy has a long history of being involved with charities that involve children, some being a reading tutor, Big Sister, and heading charity Christmas runs for several corporations.
Nancy is in the process of becoming a Guardian ad Litem for children and is honoured to be part of
The Elizabeth’s Phoenix Foundation. Nancy looks forward to growing the Trusts and would love to see one in every state, while at the same time wishing there wasn’t such a need.

Advisory Board Member Desiree Williams has been invaluable in helping the TEPF develop.
She a retired 45-year-old Puerto Rican wife and mother of 3 plus 1 bonus daughter. Originally from NYC, now living a quiet life in the south suburbs of Chicago. Desiree enjoys reading and writing romance and erotic fiction.
She's addicted to coffee, sci-fi, all things Marvel and Harry Potter.
Desiree was a teen mom with a whole world of statics against me. Every time she was told she couldn't do something, she did it, took pictures, and smiled with her son on my hip for everyone who ever doubted me.
Now, after finding the love of her life in her thirties, they married in the great 2020 pandemic, which shall not be named. They have a house full of teenagers who don't need mommy anymore, and the hubs is a traveling ER nurse. So, Desiree have found herself with a lot of downtime, which she fills writing, travelling and supporting the charity!

In her role as an Advisory Board Member, Jody has done a lot for the charity. Jody was born and raised in Minnesota. In fact, she only lives 7 miles from her childhood home. After a car accident derailed her career behind the chair as a cosmetologist, she went to work for the office of Child Support in 2 different counties.
After 7 years she left that job to help her husband run the family's small engine repair business. Her husband Kenny ran the shop and was head mechanic. Jody took care of the office and customers. In 2017 she retired early due to neck and back problems. She is the proud mother of 2 and grandmother of 5.
She has been very involved in fund raising for Hope 4 Youth, a local charity/foundation that helps homeless youth. She also has been involved with Jake's Hope. A foundation her good friend Deanne created when her youngest son died by suicide.
She is an avid reader and crafter. These days, Jody and her husband Kenny, (when he is not working) are busy going to grandchildren's activities and being the faithful servants of Maisie, their 2 year old cat who she describes as 90% sweet, loveable, cuddly and adorable. 10% demon spewed from the deepest bowels of hell.
